October is Financial Planning Month so you are probably hearing that term thrown around in the media. Financial Planning starts with measuring where you are currently with your finances. That measurement leads to decisions about what you want to accomplish in your life and if and when you want to retire. Just as you plan a destination and a path for a vacation by knowing the time and the resources you have available, you can set reasonable financial goals for your future by knowing where you are financially at the present time, managing risks and unexpected detours, and setting and sticking to a path financially that is in line with your targets for buying major assets, paying off debt, saving for college, paying for weddings, financing your bucket list, and enjoying retirement with financial independence. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss financial planning with you.
